IME UWAH: THAT REPRESENTATIVE UYO FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY WERE CLAMOURING FOR

By Paul SYLVESTER

One of the factors that determine growth and development in a democratic government is based on the quality and the commitment representatives elected to coordinate the political affairs of the electorate, be it at the National Assembly or state Assembly.

That is why many people, determined to enjoy dividends of democracy, ensure that they elect good leaders to positions of authority in order not to lag behind when the list of people benefitting or have benefitted from our democratic experiment are drawn up.

With the 2019 general elections fast approaching, the people of Uyo Federal Constituency, having yearned for effective, egalitarian and people focused representation in the Federal House of Representatives can now have a sigh of relieve given that a man armed with the midas touch has finally decided to step into the fray.

The man who seeks to speak for the good people of Uyo Federal Constituency from 2019 is multi- talented. He’s a team player well versed with leadership qualities that aptly suits the demands of modern politics and a fast developing world.

Educationally, Mr. Ime Uwah has attended the best of schools that have prepared him for any task.  Added to this are other numerous academic attainments including attending business and leadership courses at Lagos business School.

On the political front, he has played critical roles and affiliated with groups that have aimed to birth and support good governance.

Uwah is no neophyte in community service.

What is more, Mr. Uwah has done a lot to improve the welfare of the downtrodden, engaged in activities and associations that have all but tilted towards promoting the state. He’s well groomed, thoroughbred, sound in mind and thoughts, Uwah is a 21st century leader brimming with ideas and vigour that needs to be displayed in a bigger capacity having distinguished himself in the various capacities that he has worked.

As a former aide to Gov. Emmanuel, he successfully interpreted the governor’s ‘Dakkada’ dream, by seeing to the mobilization of over 15,000 ‘Dakkada’ ambassadors across all Local Government Areas. Uwah is so tall, tall enough to see to the set up of the Akwa Ibom Dakkada Cooperative Association which has 31 Dakkada Cooperative Unions and about 329 Dakkada Multi-purpose cooperative societies with over 8000 members

As the race for the assembly seat hots up, Uyo Federal Constituency is left with little or no option but to pitch their tent with Ime Emmanuel Uwah who, given his track records in both private and public life, has proven to be a man given to achieving results. With him, there’s no doubt that Uyo Federal Constituency is in for a breath of fresh air in legislative business.

Mr. Uwah is armed with the intellectual power, vision and skills needed at this critical juncture to drive the dreams and aspirations of the people of Atai Uyo. He is ready to serve. He is an organiser, a mobilizer, With him, the people of this Federal Constituency can wave goodbye to politics of backwardness and policies that conflict with the interest of the generality of the people.

Today, the people of Uyo Federal Constituency have been presented with a man with the magic wand that will turn their political fortunes around from that of lamentation to celebration. Surely, it’s a new dawn for Uyo Federal Constituency. And to drive this new narrative is no one else but a proud son of Atan Offot, Ward 6 in Uyo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.

Ladies and gentleman, let’s rise and support Ime Emmanuel Uwah for effective and result oriented representation. The time is now and Ime Uwah is the man. Please join the train let’s do it for the sake of posterity!
