As the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) celebrates its Diamond Jubilee, the Akwa Ibom State Chapter of the Institute, commissioned 20 years ago, is set to host its 2024 Annual General Meeting/Conference, a landmark event that will commemorate the 10th O.W. Udoh Memorial Lecture.
The 2024 AGM/Conference, themed “Driving Sustainable Perception Management Through Artificial Intelligence,” is scheduled to be held at Breakfort Hotel & Suites, Uyo, on Thursday, July 25, 2024, starting promptly at 12 noon.
Sharing details of the forthcoming event with newsmen, the Chairman of the AGM Planning Committee, Mr. Darlington Udobong, said, “The theme of the 2024 event aims to explore the evolving role of artificial intelligence in the field of public relations. The event promises to be a convergence of thought leaders, public relations practitioners, and AI enthusiasts, all keen to delve into how AI can be harnessed to shape and manage public perception sustainably.”
Speaking further on the highlights of the event, Mr. Udobong said, “Attendees can look forward to an insightful discourse through a panel of discussants who will dissect the theme and provide actionable insights on leveraging AI in perception management. Esteemed experts in the field are expected to share their knowledge and experiences.”
