WARSAW ALERT: MAYHEM MODE SET TO BE ACTIVATED BY THE APC

A press release issued by the Akwa Ibom State Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Comrade Ini Ememobong, has said “We agree completely with Shakespeare that “there is no art to find the mind’s construction on the face.” When the Warsaw proclamation was made, people marveled at how a person who was previously thought of as a perfect gentleman could eulogize Hitler and pogrom. And how a person who ordinarily in the past was absolutely committed to the protection of lives and property, could turn around to crave for mass murder and humongous destruction of public property. We would never have known until the person himself confessed to his secret passion. The Bible speaking to such a circumstance proclaims thats “out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks”. It was out of the overflow of a war mongering mindset that the Warsaw proclamation was made. Like every strategy, the Warsaw implementation plan is due to be executed in phases.
We have credible intelligence that the Warsaw motivated APC intends to stage as phase 1, the destruction of their party’s buses and property and put the blame on the state government and the PDP, all in a bid to paint a picture of “continuous state sponsored violence”  against the a president and APC in order to raise a security red flag and stimulate the immediate mass deployment of security operatives and the ultimate invasion of the state during 2019 elections, in the Ekiti style.
We are hereby putting the entire country and the international community on NOTICE, that  as a law abiding party, we abhor violence and do not encourage it. An example is the just concluded primaries, our party conducted a bloodless and rancour free exercise,  unlike the same exercise undertaken by the APC, which can be euphemistically described as bloody, with numerous corpses as their garland.
We condemn violence in all its appearances and manifestations and therefore cannot and will not engineer or sponsor it. If APC chooses to damage their property and by extension public property( like they did to a police station in Okobo) they should take full responsibility for it and not to attempt to pin it on an innocent party.
Ordinarily, we would have taken this intelligence with a pinch of salt, but recent happenings in our state have raised even the flimsiest thought to an issue of grave concern. In Akwa Ibom today, if you have as little as an argument with an APC member, they’ll write a petition to the police alleging that you committed blasphemy against the president. Upon receipt of the Petition, the Inspector General will allegedly constitute a high powered team to fly to Uyo, arrest, intimidate and detain the person(especially if the person is a member of the PDP). Is it not absolutely laughable that a crack team is set up and flown at tax payers expense to uyo to investigate arguments relating to the location of a billboard, whereas less that 25 kilometers from Uyo, a divisional police  station in Okobo was completely burnt down and police vehicles destroyed by APC youths who protested the outcome of their party’s primaries, yet no arrest has been made or the hierarchy of the offending party invited to the police station( at least it’s not public knowledge). We invite the attention of the global community to the anomaly perpetrated by the APC in the name of ‘Federal might’ backed politics in Akwa Ibom state.
We will continue to remind the APC that when their Federal night arrives Uyo, it will meet God’s might in sufficient proportion. As believers we know that God will surely frustrate the devices of the crafty( Federal might) that they shall not perform their enterprise. This is a divine Assurance.
