OBIANO RE-ELECTED ANAMBRA GOVERNOR

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Willie Obiano, the candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) as the winner of the 2017 Anambra gubernatorial election.

Obiano won in all the 21 local government areas of the state with a total of 234,071 votes.

The candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, Tony Nwoye was second with 98,752 votes.

Oseloka Obaze of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, emerged third garnering 70,593 votes, while Osita Chidoka of United Progressives Party, UPP, came a distant fourth with 7,746 votes.
