HOUSING: UCCDA REALLOCATES PLOTS AT MARTHA’S VINEYARD ESTATE

The Chairman of Uyo Capital City Development Authority, Otuekong Enobong Uwah said plans have been concluded for take-off of the new Residential Estate located at Ediene Ikot Obio Imo along Idoro Road to be known as Martha’s Vineyard.

Prince Uwah gave the assurance in his office during a meeting with the Allottees of the Estate for revalidation and reallocation of their plots.

The UCCDA helmsman who expressed Government readiness to facilitate development of the Estate said when developed will meet thee housing needs of the people of the State.

While expressing satisfaction over the progress made in the site, Prince Uwah noted that the redesign and comprehensive survey demarcations has been completed to accommodate all allottees of the Estate whose plots have been encroached upon.

He further added that infrastructural facilities within the Estate including water, electricity, internal roads, perimeter fencing will commence soon.

Prince Uwah therefore called on the allottees of the Estate to take advantage of the ongoing revalidation and reallocation of plots by the Uyo Capital City Development or risk revocation of the old allocation letters and title rights.

Speaking on the ongoing revalidation and reallocation of plots to the allottees of the Estate, Prince Uwah advised that the exercise will last for thirty-one days.

Present during the meeting was the Secretary and Head of Administration, Mr. Anietie Marcus Akpan, Head of Estate Department, Josephine Uboh.
