A’IBOM@ 33: GOV EMMANUEL COMMISSIONS A STATE-OF-THE ARTS COUNCIL OF CHIEFS COMPLEX

As part of activities to mark the 33rd Anniversary of Akwa Ibom State State, Governor Udom Emmanuel today, Wednesday 23rd September, 2020 commissioned, a state-of-the art Council of Chiefs complex.

Located along Wellington Bassey Way, Uyo, the edifice, the first of its kind in this part of Nigerian region, will remain a cultural heritage and pride of the State.

Today’s commissioning exercise portrays Governor Emmanuel’s sincerity of purpose, sensitivity to the needs of the citizenry and a deep show of respect of the Traditional Institution in the state.

At the occasion, a staff of office and a brand new vehicle was given to the Paramount Ruler of Ika LGA, HRH Edidem Bassey Ekosi Ekot III.

The super imposing Counci of Chiefs building which will strenghten the traditional institution in the state is made up of such components as: a state-of-the-art auditorium with a gallery, convenience facilities that takes care of the disabled, Entertainment Lounge, Conference rooms, offices and well furnished Residential buildings.
