UDOM’S AIDE PLANS SPECIAL EASTER FIESTA

Residents of Akwa Ibom and those living in the neighbouring States, are definitely going to witness the first ever Akwa Ibom Easter Fiesta, put together by the Office of the Special Assistant to Governor Udom Emmanuel on Entertainment Industry.
According to the Special Assistant and Project Director of the event, Mr. David Sergeant, the Special Easter Celebration is billed for Easter Monday, March 28, at the Ibom Plaza amphitheater, Uyo.
Mr. Sergeant, popularly called Utang Akwa Ibom, said the event would be “first of its kind and a memorable one.”
Addressing Journalists in Uyo, on Friday, the Governor’s Aide, who has spent over sixteen (16) years in the Entertainment Industry, said: “Uyo is definitely the place to be this Easter. The city is blessed and we have a Governor; His Excellency, Mr Udom Emmanuel, whose passion for the things of the LORD and youth development is incredible.”
Explaining further, he added: “the event would definitely be the first of its kind in this part of the world and it would be showcasing music, comedy, dance, poetry, culture and the rich traditional heritage of our people. It’s fresh and different. I think if I say it will be a coronation concert for the KING of Kings and LORD of lords, I won’t make any mistake” he told reporters.”
Utang Akwa Ibom, who announced that some of the biggest names from the world of Entertainment have been confirmed for the participation in the mega event, noted that the State Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel, will be the Special Guest of Honour, while members of the State Executive Council as well as the entire lawmakers in the State House of Assembly would be Guests of Honour.
Mr. Sergeant used the occasion to invite all religious groups, the political class, aides of the governor, performing stars and upcoming ones from Akwa Ibom, and indeed all sons and daughters of the State to the epoch-making occasion, holding, Easter Monday at the Ibom Plaza by 4pm.
