The Akwa Ibom State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) will on Friday, June 29,2018, commence its Federal Constituency tour and inauguration of Local Government Caucus in the 10 Federal Constituencies of the state.
The tour, according to the State Chairman of the Party, Obong Paul Ekpo, is to flag off the membership renewal exercise and present the new membership registers, alongside the inauguration of Local Government Area Caucus of the party.
A statement signed by the State Publicity Secretary of the party, Comrade Ini Ememobong, says “At the tour, political stakeholders from the various local government areas in the federal Constituencies will be expected to attend and discuss critical issues affecting their Local Government Areas.”
“The Tour will commence on Friday 29th June with Ikot Abasi Federal Constituency at Council hall in Ikot Abasi by 10:00am,” the statement concluded.
