The Special Assistant to Governor Emmanuel on New Media, Mr Aniekeme Finbarr, has charged students to build up their careers based on inherent talents and potentials.

Mr Finbarr gave the charge on Saturday during an interactive session with students at Beyond Barriers Holiday Bootcamp, Learner’s Field, Abak Local Government Area.

The Governor’s Aide tasked the students to be focused in the pursuit of their careers by reading extensively to acquire much information about their chosen fields and to approach mentors who have recorded tremendous achievements in their chosen fields.

He emphasized on the need for Students not to fear science related courses in the higher institutes of learning, saying that the world is vast growing towards science, hence the need for Science and Technology related Courses to be prioritized.

“The world is moving towards science and technology. Today, agriculture is mechanized to increase farm produce, likewise other professions.”

The Media Expert encouraged the students not to relent in reading, noting that reading will expose them to the rudiments of their chosen career.
