TEARS AS FAMILY BURIES FIRST CLASS GRADUATE WHO DIED IN ZAMFARA NYSC CAMP

It was a sad day for corps members in Akwa Ibom State yesterday (Thursday) as the remains of Ukeme Monday Asuquo, a first class graduate of Petroleum Engineering from the University of Uyo, was committed to mother earth in his hometown, Ikot Udo Oto village in Etinan LGA of the state.

Monday died during the Batch B orientation camping exercise in Zamfara State after battling Diarrhoea.

The funeral service was attended by engineering students of the University of Uyo, Transition Committee of Etinan Local Government Area, Mr. Cletus Ekpo, the Member Representing Etinan State Constituency, Hon. Barr. Aniefiok Dennis, Chairman, NYSC members in Etinan and state representatives, family members, relations, indigenes of Etinan Local Government Area, friends and well-wishers.
