The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has dismissed claims linking him to the arrest of popular TikToker Olumide Ogunsanwo, popularly known as ‘SeaKing.’
Ogunsanwo was recently rearrested on allegations of cyberbullying the revered cleric, sparking widespread reactions on social media as many questioned the circumstances of his detention.
Addressing the issue during the church’s monthly Holy Ghost Service at Redemption City, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Ogun State on Friday, Adeboye distanced himself from the incident and called for SeaKing’s immediate release.
In a viral video on Saturday, the 82-year-old cleric stated that he neither ordered nor endorsed the arrest, explaining that certain individuals, seemingly angered by SeaKing’s remarks against him, may have acted independently.
