NUJ CHAPLAIN LAUNCHES TWO BOOKS

All is now set for the official launching and public presentation of two books, authored by the chaplain of the Akwa Ibom State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Reverend Idongesit Inwang.

The books presentation billed to hold at the Qua Iboe Church, 112 Nwaniba Road in Uyo the Akwa Ibom capital on Sunday, April 17, 2016 by 10 am, will be chaired by the Speaker of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Mr Onofiok Luke, a lawyer.

The launching of the two books, Liberty and Conflict Management-A Socio-Spirito/Ecclesiological Perspective according to the chairman, planning committee, Elder (Arc) Okon Obot will coincide with a welfare/thanksgiving service of the author, Rev. Idongesit Inwang, who is also the resident pastor of the Qua Iboe Church, 112 Nwaniba Road, Uyo.

The books are expected to be reviewed by University of Uyo orator, Prof. Effiong Johnson while the State commissioner for Information Mr Aniekan Umanah is billed to unveil the books.

Rev Idongesit Inwang hails from Nkana-Iman in Etinan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. He holds a degree in French, from the University of Uyo. Also, he holds a degree in Christian Counselling, M.Sc in Pastoral Ministry, from the Logos Christian College, Jacksonville, Florida, USA.

According to the author, the book Liberty, espouses the true cry for freedom and therefore, is not only to rescue one from some tyranny, but also for liberty to live a full, purposeful and meaningful life, garnered up in the person of Jesus Christ.

The second book, Conflict Management: A Socio-Spirito/Ecclesiological Perspective will enlighten they would be reader on views about conflicts, types of conflicts, causes of conflicts, effects of conflicts, approaches to conflicts management and make recommendations.
