To offer effective representation to the people of Etinan Federal Constituency, Comrade Imo Etuk, a youth activist from Ikot Edibom, Nsit Ubium Local Government Area, has opted to contest the constituency seat for 2019 on the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC)

Briefing newsmen shortly after consultation with stakeholders of the party in Etinan Federal Constituency, Comrade Etuk, fondly called Tupac by admirers, said his intention to contest for the seat was borne out of motivation by electorates in the constituency, according to him “if given a chance, I will provide qualitative representation that will be second to none.”
He stressed that his ambition will be issues based, claiming that the APC will sweep all the National Assembly seats in 2019.
On why he embarked on early consultation, the youth activist said that he needed to prepare early so as to hold full grip of the political scenario before 2019, adding that he may likely consult the political stakeholders once every year, till 2019.
The National Assembly hopeful described APC as a political party that has come to stay in the country, saying “gone are the days imposition was the order of the day.”
He described the party as a non-imposed, focused and dynamic political party with great attributes.
The Youth leader commended the APC gubernatorial candidate, Obong Umana Okon Umana, for giving him a platform to showcase his talent and pledged to reciprocate the gesture via effective representation.
“Yea, I am contesting for House of Representative in Etinan Federal Constituency, under the platform of All Progressive Congress. In APC, we believe in early planning, that is why, I have decided to start my consultation right away.“All things being equal, I will indulge in consultation once a year till the actual year of the election, which is 2019. Like I told my supporters in Mbioto, Etinan, when they paid a visit on me, we are embarking on Issue based campaign, no blackmail, no propaganda and no character assassination.“My intention to vie for National Assembly seat in APC, is borne out of motivation by my people, also APC, it is the only party, where imposition is not tolerated. In addition, the party has come to stay in Nigeria. As far as the next election is concern, I can assure you that, our party will sweep entire space, as a result of men of tested and proven integrity who will fly the flag of our dear party in various seats, nationwide.I can assure you that, my stay in the National Assembly, will witness effective representation in all aspects of endeavor. The Youths, Women, Elders, Monarchs and the entire people of Etinan Federal Constituency, will have a feel of the dividend of Democracy.I want to commend my mentor, leader and destiny helper, Obong Umana Okon Umana for giving me a platform to thrive, I promise to reciprocate the gestures he has placed on me via effective representation,” he stressed.
