wa Ibom foremost socio-political group, Ibom Grassroots Democratic Foundation has launched its campaign to mobilize and sensitize the public on the need to ownbtheir Permanent Voter Card (PVC), tagged ‘Operation Show Your PVC’.

Media & Publicity Director, said “Ibom Grassroots Democratic Foundation felicitates the secretary to the state government, Dr Emmanuel Ekuwem on his reception by the entire Oro Federal Constituency and by extension the entire gamut of Oro nation worldwide under the platform of Oro Union.”
“We are particularly happy that for more than three decades spanning many administrations it is this administration that has produced a senator? and an SSG, etc, for the Oro people. That is the reward for loyalty.”
“As we approach another electioneering period the Foundation urges eligible sons and daughters of the Oro people and indeed the entire Akwa Abasi Ibom state to get their Permanent Voter Card PVC as the weapon to vote for Udom Emmanuel and other PDP candidates in the forthcoming 2019 elections.”
“We use this medium to call on governor Udom Emmanuel as the leader of the party to embark on Operation Show Your Permanent Voter Card for government appointees in his administration.”
“We equally call on the state party chairman Obong Paul Ekpo to replicate same across the party hierarchy in the state. The local government chairmen should insist on operation show your PVC before appointing aides, ditto for yet to be released local government supervisors etc. The Foundation wishes to authoritatively assert that a sizable number of state government appointees do not have their PVC,” the statement maitained.
“It is on this note that we reiterate that government should insist on sighting the PVC for her would be appointees as well as review the appointments of her appointees. Once again, we express our happiness on the appointment of the SSG and call on the Oro people to stand with Deacon Udom Emmanuel for second term come 2019,” the statement concluded.
