As leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from the South-South met to strategize for the forthcoming elections, Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Works, Akparawa Ephraim Inyang, who was a delegate to the meeting, has lauded the resolution of leaders of the party from the zone to work in unison to take over the presidency in 2019.
Speaking with PDP Media Team during the Zonal Executive Council meeting on Monday at the Government House Banquet Hall, Port Harcourt, Akparawa Inyang said “the meeting was timely and for the interest of Nigerians.”
Akparawa Inyang, who recently won best Works Commissioner of the year during the 2018 Independent Public Service Excellence Award, expressed optimism that the PDP leaders would do everything possible to ensure that the party emerged victorious in 2019.
On his award, the Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Works said, though the Award came as a surprise, he was delighted to know that the many infrastructural strides of Governor Udom Emmanuel were being seen and appreciated by people within and outside Nigeria.
He further added that the Award has challenged his Ministry to work even harder for the progress and development of Akwa Ibom State.
