ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT: ANIEKAN BASSEY COMMENCES VISIT TO RHAB-YESS BENEFICIARIES

That the Rt. Hon. Aniekan Bassey Youth Entrepreneurship Support Scheme (RHAB-YESS) has become a veritable vehicle for the development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises across Akwa Ibom State is a fact acknowledged by young entrepreneurs in the state and this feat is traceable to the unparalleled magnanimity of Rt. Hon. Aniekan Bassey, Speaker of the 7th Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly.

The Speaker’s magnanimity further dazzled beneficiaries of the scheme on Wednesday when he made unscheduled visits to their business outlets to ascertain their progress level.

Represented by Managers of the Scheme, Darlington Udobong and Godswill Bassey, the Speaker expressed satisfaction with what the young entrepreneurs have achieved with the financial support given them.

Rt. Hon. Bassey, who hinted that the one year old Scheme has done 13 editions so far with over 33 beneficiaries, trained over 25 Artisans and covered 31 Local Government Areas, said RHAB-YESS will cover more grounds.

He charged those visited to continually embrace hard work, dedication and commitment to their respective ventures, saying “you have made good use of the little given to you. I am so proud of you. We will do our best to support you more.”

Those visited included Udeme Essien (N500,000 Winner), who runs a small boutique at 263 Oron Road, Uyo; Moses Daniel Udofia (N250,000 Winner), who runs a Fashion outfit on Uwa Street, Uyo; Utibe Akwa (N100,000 Winner), who runs Uty Trends Enterprise, Uyo; Blessing Monday Akpan (N250,000 Winner), who runs Blandy Organic, Uyo, and DianaAbasi Usoro (N250,000 Winner), who runs Diana’s Fashion World, Uyo.
