The Managing Director of Eminence Oil and Gas Limited, Mr. Emmanuel Okon, fondly called Eminence, has commended Governor Udom Emmanuel on the “many road projects the government is doing across the state.”

Speaking with reporters in Uyo, Mr. Okon said the road projects, which spans across the state, show that Governor Udom Emmanuel, though from Eket Senatorial District, has been a fair and just Governor who treats all sections of the state as equal, adding that “this is the spirit of true leadership.”

Mr. Okon, who is the Chairman of NNPC Dealers Association of Nigeria, particularly thanked the Governor for the Idiaba-Nda Nsit-Nung Udoe Road in his native Nsit Atai Local Government Area.

He also thanked Governor Emmanuel “for other roads such as the dualization of the Uyo-Etinan Road; Eket-Etinan Road and Etinan-ONNA Road; Nto Edino Road; Nung Ukim Road in Ikono and remodeling of selected roads and strategic renovations in Eket.”

Mr. Okon said the economic importance of the road projects cannot be overemphasized, maintaining that “as a businessman, I appreciate the economic importance of these projects and I believe all of us also do. When the roads are completed, we shall all enjoy the dividends.”

He urged all Akwa Ibom people to support the Governor and his government “to see to the completion of these road projects.”
