CORONAVIRUS: NIGERIA CONFIRMS THREE NEW CASES

 

Nigeria has confirmed three new cases of Coronavirus.

The Nigerian Centre for disease control, NCDC, made the confirmation.

This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases to 25 in Nigeria.

Our source recalls that ten new cases of COVID-19 n Lagos and Abuja on Saturday

NCDC on its official twitter page disclosed this even as it advised those who just returned to Nigeria from any country in the last 14 days, to stay in self-isolation

The tweet reads ;”As at 06:45am on the 22nd of March, there are 25 confirmed cases of #COVID19 recorded in Nigeria

“Of the 25 confirmed cases, 2 have been discharged, with no death.

“All 3 cases were reported in Lagos State, and have travel history to high-risk countries in the last 7 days.”

The agency assured that efforts are being put in place to identify and follow up with contacts. (Source: DAILYPOST)
