Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Special Duties, Rt. Hon. Okpolupm Etteh, has charged couples on godliness and God-centered marriage in other to build a united family for the benefit of the society.
Rt. Hon. Etteh gave the charge on Sunday at the wedding reception of Mr. and Mrs. Kingsley Asuquo (Max), a youth leader, at Government Primary School, Mkpanak, Ibeno Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
The Commissioner said that the society is a reflection of family bonding.
He further stressed the need for couples to communicate often in their marriages as it’s vital for any happy home and a prosperous society.
Rt. Hon. Etteh specifically thanked the groom for obeying God’s command, praying God to bless and prosper the union.
The wedding ceremony took place at the Apostolic Church, Big Town, Mkpanak in Ibeno LGA witnessed a large turned out of friends and well wishers, the reception was anchored by Soso Connect, a popular musician and event compere.
