As the general elections are fast approaching, the Publicity Unit of the Akwa Ibom State Chapter of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), severally lauded for its proactive nature, efficiency and capacity, received a brand new utility Mini-Bus for optimal productivity from the Assistant Publicity Secretary, Hon. Kenneth Nyong.
Speaking on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, while presenting the vehicle, Hon. Nyong, whose gesture was to affirm his trust and confidence with Comrade Ini Ememobong-led Publicity Unit, commended the Publicity Secretary for “proving beyond every reasonable doubt that he has the political sagacity, dexterity and capacity to reposition the Unit in such an enviable and unprecedented way.”
Hon. Nyong promised to do more to give the party a facelift and assist the Publicity Unit complement the efforts of Governor Udom Emmanuel, who is the leader of the party in the state.
He said Comrade Ememobong “has proven that the capacity to deliver on any responsibility is not dependent on age but by the sufficient grace of God. So the emergence of Ini Ememobong as the Publicity Secretary of our party was a divine arrangement and God’s choice for the party.”
“When we came onboard, Comrade Ememobong emphasized that we should embark on the operation rebrand, reposition and rejig the Publicity Unit of the party. We did that and we are still on it. So far, we have been reaping the positive fruits of his hard work, industriousness, creativity and innovation as a party. It is on this premise that I want to complement his effort by contributing my little token, a brand new Mini-Bus, to the success story of the Unit,” Hon Nyong maintained.
Responding, Comrade Ememobong lauded the Assistant Publicity Secretary for the kind gesture, adding that the Unit and, indeed, the party, were highly indebted to his show of love, concern and sincere contribution to its success.
