A’IBOM GOVT SEEKS COLLABORATION WITH FRSC FOR SAFE TRAFFIC SYSTEM

To further drive the success of the ARISE Agenda, Governor Umo Eno has expressed the Akwa Ibom State Government’s readiness to collaborate with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) to ensure a safe traffic system in the state.

The Governor made this known in Uyo during a Special Marshal Sectoral Workshop organized by the State Command of FRSC and themed “Volunteerism In Road Safety Management: Possibilities And Limits.”

Represented by the State Commissioner for Transport, Hon. Orman Esin, Governor Eno lauded the FRSC for painstakingly driving the ARIS Agenda through their daily routines.

“I want to specially commend the Special Marshal for saving lives and adding value to the traffic system in Nigeria. The State Government is ready and will always be ready to collaborate with FRSC so as to maintain this value. We want Akwa Ibom State traffic system to be a model for Nigeria. Together we can achieve this,” the Governor said.
