A’IBOM AT 31: UDOM COMMISSIONS IKOT UDOTA-HERITAGE POLYTECHNIC ROAD

As part of the 31st Anniversary celebration of Akwa Ibom State, Governor Udom Emmanuel will be embarking on the commissioning of several infrastructural projects across the state.

Among the projects to be commissioned is the Ikot Udota-Heritage Polytechnic Road handled by Olgette Projects Limited and designed to significantly create smooth access to Heritage Polytechnic and its environ.

A resident of the area, Mr. Etim Atakpa, recalled that in the last three years the Governor Udom Emmanuel-led administration had remained focused to its promise of providing good governance and dividends of democracy to the people Akwa Ibom State.

Another resident and student of Heritage Polytechnic, Elizabeth Jerome, said “Governor Udom Emmanuel and his team are doing well. They started well and we, the student and residents of the area are happy with his government.”

A government source from the Ministry of Work, the supervising ministry, said the road project was conceived to alleviate the plight of the people of the area and also provide connectivity and improve socio-economic activities in the area.

The Project Manager, Engr. Olawale John, promised that the road will stand the test of time because of the quality of materials used in line with global best practice.

He also said Olgette Projects Limited will deliver more quality jobs to Akwa Ibom State Government if given the opportunity.
