2023: WE ARE READY FOR PDP’S VICTORY – IBENO STAKEHOLDERS SAY

As preparation for the 2023 General Elections gears up, stakeholders of Ibeno Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State have disclosed their dedication, commitment and readiness to ensure landslide victories for all candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The stakeholders, who pledged to work in unison to galvanize the electorates and deliver their own, Rt. Hon. Okpolupm Etteh, and other candidates of the party, made this know on Saturday at the Ulok-Ulok Hall, Upenekang, during an extraordinary enlarged stakeholders meeting.

The stakeholders, which was made of students groups, non-indigene associations, market women, youths and the elderly assured that they have worked round-the-clock and mobilized massively in their respective Units and Wards to ensure victory for the PDP in the forthcoming elections.

While encouraging the people to remain firm in their support for PDP, the incumbent representative of Eket/ONNA/Esit Eket/Ibeno Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Pat Ifon, who was at the meeting to identify with the people of Ibeno Local Government Area, thanked them for their unwavering steadfastness and commitment to the party.

In his remarks, the 2023 PDP Candidate for Eket/ONNA/Esit Eket/Ibeno Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Okpolupm Etteh, charged the people to remain focused and committed to the ideals of the party and the progress of the Udom Emmanuel-led administration for more democratic dividends.

He thanked them for their show of love, solidarity and for opting to work for his victory and that of the party at the polls in 2023, assuring that they will benefit more in the future.

In their separate remarks, the Chairman of Ibeno Local Government Council, Chief William Mkpah; the Ibeno Local Government Coordinator of the Maintain Peace Movement (MPM) and Member of the Akwa Ibom Technical Schools Board, Hon. Henry Ekpe-Nko; Chairman of the Ethical and Attitudinal Re-Orientation Commission (EARCOM), Dr Dorothy Thompson; Present of Ngba Ndiak Obolo, Apostle Samuel Ekah; the State Officer of PDP, Mrs. Grace Ekpe; the Ibeno Chapter Youth Leader of PDP, Victor Edikpo, and others who spoke unanimously declared their solidarity and support for the party and all its candidates in the elections.

Among the mammoth crowd were Secretary of Ibeno Local Government Council, Mr. Johnson Ukalom; the Leader of Ibeno Legislative Council,Ekemini Abang; Ibeno Chapter Chairman of the PDP, Hon. Emah Ibok; Secretary of Ibeno MPM, Hon. Sunday Isokobo; Mr. Samuel Ekpenyong; Hon. Ekoakwaha Etteh; Mr. Eshiet Francis; former Vice Chairman of Ibeno Local Government Council, Hon. Inyang Eyo-Ita; Hon. Enyina Herkins; Barrister Diamond Akpanika; Elder Utip Ekong; Engr. Michael Abakam; Mrs. Ekpenyong Enyina; Hon. Joshua Mkpat and Mr. Cyril Akpan.
