The Akwa Ibom State Chapter of PDP New Generation, a political support group that was established to create and promote an umbrella for youths and women to network and actively participate in politics and governance for a better Nigeria, held its maiden meeting in Uyo on Wednesday.
In his charge to members of the State Executive, the State Coordinator, Mr. Cletus Kufre Udobang, said the group was turbocharged and committed to the ‘Operation Rescue Nigeria Campaign’ of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Beyond promoting and propagating the ideals of the PDP, Mr. Udobang maintained that “the Akwa Ibom State Chapter of the PDP New Generation will focus on mobilizing women and youths of the state for the victory of the PDP and all its candidates.”
He further hinted that the group has put modalities in place to enable it embark on a door-to-door sensitization and mobilization campaign across the 31 Local Government Areas of the state.
The Akwa Ibom State Executive of the PDP New Generation includes Mrs. Aniediabasi Luke (Deputy Coordinator), Ikpe Dominic Ekwere (Secretary General), Uyoata Udoekpo (Assistance Secretary), Kenneth Usoro (Treasurer), Nkereuwem Akpan (Financial Secretary), Daniel Effiong (Youth Leader), Mrs. Favour Uyire (Woman Leader I), Uwem Asuquo (Legal Adviser), Darlington Udobong (Director of Media and Publicity), Unwana Etieneobong (Woman Leader II), Aniefon Ndah (Director of Contact & Mobilizations), Jennifer Elijah (Welfare 1) and Alexander Essien (Welfare II).
Others are Mfonobong Emmanuel (Oron Coordinator), Festus Ntiekeime (Ukanafun Coordinator), Hon. Nsikak Edem (Uruan Coordinator), Lady Nseobot Edet Ben (Ibesikpo Asutan Coordinator), Victor Atakpa (Itu Coordinator), Jenifer Elijah (Abak Coordinator), Usen Mendie and Kufre Andrew Okure.
