WHY MKPAT  ENIN WILL VOTE PDP  – EKONG SAMPSON

The Mkpat Enin Divine Mandate Coordinator and Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Economic Development,  Labour and Manpower. Rt. Hon. (Barr.) Ekong Sampson, has said that the enormous support of Mkpat Enin people for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is in appreciation of the benefits which the Party,  especially during the current administration in the State, has offered  them.
The Honourable Commissioner reiterated  that the affirmation of Governor Udom Emmanuel’s commitment to constructing  Ibekwe Akpanya- Ikot Unya-Ikot Akata road branching off through Ikot Unya  to Iffe, Ikot Essen, in addition to the coconut plantation and refinery, mega power station in Ekim, facelift of Akwa Ibom State University Ikot Akpaden, Ikot Ebiere-Ikot Emem-Ukam road, Ikot Edeghe – Ikot Usop road, Skill Acquisition Centre in Ikot Akata, key state appointments,  have even endeared the  Governor to Mkpat Enin people the more.
Speaking at the reception of Hon. Mabel Daniel, at Iton, after her swearing in as Councillor representing Ikpa Ikono Ward III, to replace the deceased Member of the Mkpat Enin Legislative Council from the ward, Late Hon. Daniel Friday Okon, the Honourable Commissioner said that Governor Udom Emmanuel’s capacity to promote peace is a key selling point for his administration. That, he added, has earned him the support of the good people of Mkat Enin.
Barr. Ekong Sampson said that Mkpat Enin will resolutely protect State Government’s huge investments in the area and will vote for the re-election of Udom Emmanuel and for other PDP candidates, pointing out that Mkpat Enin has maintained a strong PDP structure including all the Councillors in the Fourteen (14) wards for many years – the largest in Akwa Ibom State.
Sampson commended the people of Ikpa Ikono for their unity and assured them that their road challenges will soon become a thing of the past, through Governor Udom Emmanuel’s intervention.
The newly sworn in councillor, Hon. Mabel Daniel, thanked the stakeholders and people of Ikpa Ikono III for seeing to her emergence to replace her late husband. She described Barr. Ekong Sampson as the beacon of light in Mkpat Enin and lauded his efforts to promote peace and prosperity in Ikpa Ikono.
Hon. (Mrs.) Daniel promised to mobilize the women of Ikpa Ikono III for the success of PDP in all the elections, in line with wish of the people of the ward. This, she added, her late husband had always stood for.
The president of Ikpa Ikono Clan Youth Association Comrade Idongesit Umoetuk, Divine Mandate coordinator in the ward who himself was a former ward chairman and councillor Rev. Odudu Samuel and other Ikpa Ikono stakeholders also praise Barr. Ekong Sampson for his role in the unity of Ikpa Ikono clan and pledged their total support for PDP in the forthcoming general elections.
