UDOM’S INDUSTRIALIZATION THRUST INTACT, FRUITFUL – AKAN OKON

The Commissioner for Housing and Special Duties, Mr Akan Okon, has said that the industrialization thrust of the Governor Udom Emmanuel’s administration remains unperturbed, intact and yielding unprecedented fruits.

Mr Okon, who made this known at the weekend when he made an unscheduled visit to the site of the ongoing 21-Storey Building Complex in Uyo, reiterated the current administration’s fervent commitment to all its campaign promises with particular emphasis on industrialization.

The Commissioner informed that Akwa Ibom will soon become an industrial hub and investors’ choice destination going by the level of infrastructural development brought about by Governor Udom Emmanuel.

He also hinted that the commercial building, when completed, will be a state-of-the-art facility that will place Akwa Ibom on the center stage in the comity of states.

Mr. Okon further said the Governor’s re-election declaration has on Friday reaffirmed his administration’s drive to provide Akwa Ibom with “all-round superior performance.”
