UDEME NANA APPOINTED INTO RESEARCH TEAM ON NIGERIA’S 2019 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION

A University in the United States of America, North Dakota State University (NDSU) has appointed Dr Udeme Nana into its Media Relations/Dissemination Team in their ongoing research on the 2019 Presidential Election in Nigeria.

Dr Nana is a well respected Scholar, and a Chief Lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication at the Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, in Ikot Ekpene.

In a statement by Charles Okigbo, PhD, a Professor and Research Team Leader, he said,

“An important goal of this project is to help members to get well acquainted with Mixed Methods Research so they can help in conducting serious studies of media and society in Nigeria. “

Part of the Team’s framework, is to have an online and face-to-face training of team members – all through the research period.

According to Prof. Okigbo ,Team Members are encouraged to plan to submit abstracts to the African Council for Communication Education(ACCE) and the Association of Communication Scholars and Professionals of Nigeria (ACSPN)2019 conferences – as well as the Conference of the Mixed Methods International Research Association – which will hold in Baltimore, MD, USA.in 2020.
