The Ini Ememobong Foundation has donated a 2-bedroom apartment to Mr Asuquo Asuquo and wife, Indigenes of Use Abat in Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area. The building construction is part of efforts by the Foundation to help the family get on their feet.

Recall that the Vice Chairman of the Ini Ememobong Foundation Mrs Chinonyerem Ini Ememobong had in the early hours of Monday, April 20 2020, moved both husband and wife to the Hospital for prompt medical attention while also providing a temporary rented accommodation for the family as well as donating clothes and food items to the family.

Speaking during the Inauguration, Chairman of the Ini Ememobong Foundation, Comrade Ini Ememobong noted that the project was in support of Her Excellency, Dr Martha Udom Emmanuel’s FEYREP Shelter of Hope Project.

“When we got wind of their situation, we were moved to intervene. Having a roof over one’s head is one of the most important things in life and that’s why we undertook the project. We were able to complete it in 30 days” he said.

While Inaugurating the building, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State on Inter-ministerial Hon. Sampson Idiong commended the Ini Ememobong Foundation for it’s many life-touching projects and charged the beneficiaries to make good use of they have been given.

On their part, Mr and Mrs Asuquo Umoh, expressed joy and gratitude to God for using the Ini Ememobong Foundation to bless them. They promised to put to good use what they’ve gotten while praying for God to bless Ini Ememobong, his household and the Foundation.


The event had in attendance, Vice Chairman of the Foundation, Barr. Chinonyerem Ememobong, Mkpisong Ememobong Essien, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Inter-Ministerial, Hon. Sampson Idiong, Chairman State Technical Schools Board, Hon. George Henshaw, Former Transition Chairman of Nsit ubuim, Hon. Oto Edemidiong, Chancellor of the Ini Ememobong Foundation, Mr Bassey Essang, Caretaker Youth Leader of the PDP, Hon. Enobong Harry, Special Assistant to the Governor on Trade matters, Hon. Idorenyin Rapheal, Personal Assistant to the Governor on Public Affairs, Barr. Morgan Ekanem, Member Hotels and Tourism Board, Barr Ewa Okpo and Chapter Secretary of the PDP in Ini Local government, Hon. Innocent Udom amongst others.
