OPPOSITION IS INCONSEQUENTIAL IN A’IBOM – PDP

By Nsidibe AKPAN

Akwa Ibom State Assistant Organizing Secretary of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), Elder Emmanuel Effiong George, has described as inconsequential the presence of opposition political parties in the state.

Elder George, who made this known to Ibom Telegraph on Saturday, July 27, 2019, at his country home, Oron, when he, alongside his wife, Justina, celebrated their birthday, said Governor Udom Emmanuel’s leadership style has faded the “presence of the opposition parties.”

“Personally, I want to appreciate what the Governor is doing, despite the seeming presence of the opposition political parties in the state. In my own view, the oppositions are inconsequential, because when God mandates a man, no one can stand in his way. I am a great supporter of Governor Udom Emmanuel, because of what he stands for and what I know him for. I have seen this from the cradle of his administration in Akwa Ibom State till date. I will continue to support and work for him,” he said.

Elder George, a retired teacher, further reiterate his commitment to the Governor and urged the people of the state to ensure Governor Emmanuel succeeds in his industrialization drive.
