NIPR PRESIDENT, TOP PR PRACTITIONERS TO GATHER IN UYO FOR AGM, LECTURE

The National President of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, NIPR, Malam Mukhtar Sirajo is among the high-profile PR Practitioners expected to gather in Uyo this week for the 2019 Annual General Meeting/Lecture and Awards ceremony put together by the Akwa Ibom State Chapter of the Institute.

According the a release signed by the Akwa Ibom State Public Relations Executive of NIPR, Borono Bassey, ANIPR, this year’s Annual General Meeting will be preceded by a PR Clinic on Friday, July 26, by 11am. The PR clinic will offer practitioners a unique opportunity to gather deeper insights on emerging issues and trends in Public Relations.

Coming on the heels of the PR clinic on the same day, will be the Annual General Meeting of Nigerian Institute of Public Relations.

Later in the evening, Public Relations Practitioners will converge by 6pm prompt Watbridge Hotels and Suites 11, IBB Avenue, Opposite Ibom Hall Grounds for the 6th Chief O. W Udoh Memorial Lecture Awards, and Dinner.

This year’s Lecture which will be delivered by Dr Jossy Nkwocha , Fellow, NIPR, has as its theme “Managing our Diversity: The Public Relations Perspective”

The event has the Member Representing Etinan Federal Constituency, Rt Hon. Onofiok Luke as Chairman, while the Commissioner for Information, Akwa Ibom State will serve as Chief Host.

The Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom state is also expected at the event as Guest of Honour.
