To consciously boost and harness the tourism and hospitality potentials in Akwa Ibom State, Kiniz Luxury Apartments, the first of its kind in the state, officially opened for business on Thursday.
The facility, developed towards a sustainable tourism-driven economy, is conveniently located in the heart of Uyo, the State Capital, and in the serene environment of Osong Ama Estate along Basumoh Gas Road, which is 20 minutes away from Ibom International Airport.
According to its Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Ini Usoro, the plan and concept of Kiniz Luxury Apartment are deliberate and well thought-out to give its clients, tourists and visitors to Akwa Ibom the lifestyle they deserve.
“We are not unmindful of the fact that for Akwa Ibom State to match up with other leading world tourism destination like Dubai, Miami, Singapore, Cairo, Cape Town and Accra, in terms of hospitality business, a facility like Kiniz Luxury Apartment has to be put in place. So, it was birth out of our sincere passion and desire to offer our guests a home away from home with excellent and world-class hospitality services, provide them with unrivaled luxurious lodging and outdoor services,” she explained.

The opening ceremony was witnessed by the Speaker of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Barrister Onofiok Luke; Chairman of the Akwa State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Obong Paul Ekpo; member for Esit Eket/Ibeno, Dr Usoro Akpanusoh; member for Etinan, Barrister Aniefiok Dennis; member for Eket, Mr. David Lawrence; Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Matters, Mr. Aniefiok Iwaudofia, among other.
