For the Supervisor for Youth and Sports, Ikot Ekpene Transition Committee, Prince Samuel Ukut, Sunday, April 23, 2017, will be a day of honour as he takes daughter, Princess Dara-Abasi to church for a special dedication service.
The venue of the event, which shall be graced by Akwa Ibom State First Lady, Mrs. Martha Udom Emmanuel as Special Guest, is Power City International, 98 Nwaniba Road, Uyo, by 10.am.
The Commissioner for Science and Technology, Dr. Nse Udo Essien and that of Youth & Sports, Sir Monday Ebong Uko, will attend as the Principal Guests while Very Rev. Dr. Barr. Otuekong Ukut will be the father of the day.
Also billed as distinguished guests include the Transition Committee Chairman of Ikot Ekpene, Hon. David Umanah, Senator Emmanuel Ibokessien, Engr. Etido Inyang, Rt. Hon. Nsikak Ekong, Pastor Sunny Ibuot, Hon. Leo Umanah among other top government functionaries,
Appreciating God for the priceless gift of a daughter, Mr Ukut described himself as a testimony of God’s benevolence, noting that his walk in life has proven that God really marked him out for honour and prestige.
While inviting members of his family, colleagues, friends and well wishers to the dedication service, Hon. Ukut thanked God for visiting his family in a special way and noted that the arrival of the second baby into his home has heralded more blessings, favour and glory for his family.
