HOW GOV UDOM EMMANUEL HELD THE GROUND AND WON THE GAME, BY EKONG SAMPSON

Still basking in the euphoria of Governor Udom Emmanuel’s victory in the Akwa Ibom State 2019 guber race, the Honourable Commissioner for Economic Development, Labour and Manpower Planning, Rt. Hon. (Barr.) Ekong Sampson, has congratulated the Governor “on his well-deserved re-election”.

Barrister Ekong Sampson is the Chairman, Divine Mandate Committee on Monitoring and Evaluation, as well as the Divine Mandate coordinator for Mkpat Enin Local Government Area.

In his congratulatory message, the former lawmaker noted that Governor Udom Emmanuel has “charted new frontiers in visionary and innovative governance” and stated that his second term “will present the needed trajectory for consolidation and fuller implementation of his expansive roadmap”.

Barrister Ekong Sampson thanked the people of Mkpat Enin LGA for their steadfast support for the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) which recorded overwhelming victories for all the party’s candidates in the elections across the area.

The Honourable Commissioner, in his message, congratulated the Senator-elect for Eket Senatorial District, Dr. (Mrs.) Akon Eyakenyi, Rt. Hon. Francis Uduyok, the re-elected Member representing Ikot Abasi Federal Constituency and Hon. (Barr.) Victor Ekwere, the elected House of Assembly member for Mkpat Enin State Constituency. He also extended felicitations to other candidates of the PDP who emerged victorious in the polls nationwide.

Barrister Sampson thanked the Divine Mandate leaders in Mkpat Enin who worked hard to drive the campaigns in the Local Government Area. He lauded the resolve of Governor Udom Emmanuel and the people of Akwa Ibom State to hold the ground and win the game. This, he stated, clearly affirms that the State is solidly PDP.

He reiterated that victory for Governor Udom Emmanuel is victory for peace.
