The State governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel has charged journalists in the State to direct their efforts toward generating media reports that promote the abundant potentials and opportunities that abound in the State.
The governor gave the charge while briefing Journalists in a media chat hosted by him to crown up a month long activities to mark his three years in office and this year’s Democracy Day held at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Uyo.
He said administrations will come and go and governors will come and go, but the State and her people will remain in perpetuity and the gains made over the years will add value to present generation and generations unborn.
Governor Emmanuel said it’s only good reportage that can highlight the opportunities and potentials of the State with the view to attracting investors to do business in the State.
He assured that his administration will continue to provide requisite infrastructure and enabling environment to make investments thrive in the State.
The governor called on the Press community and the entire people of the State to promote the State in whatever capacity they find themselves.
