Commissioner for Housing and Special Duties, Mr. Akan Okon, on Thursday led members of the Akwa Ibom State Executive Council to Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area to inspect the Four-Point by Sheraton Hotel.
The visit was a follow up to the earlier mentioned date of reopening of the hotel for commercial use.
Speaking, Mr. Okon reaffirmed that the hotel will be opened before the end of 2018 and added that the State Government, under the leadership of Governor Udom Emmanuel, has made all obligations to ensure the reopening of the hotel as scheduled.
In the team included the Commissioner for Labour and Productivity, Barrister Ibanga Akpabio; Commissioner for Lands and Town Planning, Arc Ime Ekpo, and Commissioner for Science and Technology, Prof. Nse Essien, among others.
