Immediate past Leader of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Okpolupm Etteh, has felicitated Governor Udom Emmanuel on his formal reception by the Ibibio Nation.
Etteh said the news of the action by the Ibibio Nation to formally receive and celebrate the State Governor was apt, adding that he expressed deepest felicitations to the Chief Executive and his wife, Mrs. Martha Udom Emmanuel.
In a goodwill message, the former Assemblyman, who described the Governor as a man of goodwill, said “The grand reception on you and your wife, Her Excellency, Mrs. Martha Udom Emmanuel, by the Ibibio Nation is a high honour and a testament to the fact that you are a man of goodwill.”
“Celebrating you and the oneness of purpose of the Ibibio Nation has further showcased that your level of acceptance by the people is immeasurable. You have inspired the great people of Akwa Ibom State,” he added.
“My family and I join millions of Akwa Ibom people to celebrate you, our illustrious son, and a perfect demonstration of dynamic and purposeful leadership. I have no doubt that you know what your people have called you to be for them, and I know you will certainly do us proud,” the message concluded.
