The College of Personal Aides (COPA) to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Udom Emmanuel has confirmed the death of their member and International President of the foremost Socio-cultural group, Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio, Akparawa Monday Etukakpan who died in the early hours of Wednesday.

 

The Dean of the College, Elder Ufot Ebong in a press statement, expressed shock and disbelief over the sudden death of Akparawa (Elder) Monday Etukakpan who untill his death was the Special Assistant to the Governor on Political and Chieftaincy Affairs.

 

Elder Ebong described Monday’s death as a great loss to the COPA, Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio and the State in general.

 

“We are in deep shock. All of us at the College of Personal Aides are in disbelief. Akparawa Etukakpan was a good and committed patriot who brought his passion to his job. He was a gentleman who maintained excellent team spirit. He will be sorely missed not only by us but by the entire people of the State,” he said

 

While wishing the soul of their member an eternal rest in the bosom of the Lord, the Dean also prayed to God to give the family of the departed colleague the grace and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
