APC REPS PRIMARY: PATTY ETETE FLOORS EMMANUEL AKPAN TO CLINCH REPS TICKET


…Ituen Leads Ekpeyong in Uyo

Former member representing Ikot Ekpene federal constituency, Hon Patty Etete Inemeh on Thursday emerged winner of the APC House of Representatives primary for Ikot Ekpene Federal constituency. He pulled a total of 11,559 to Hon Akpan’s 3,995 beating the current occupant of the office, in Ikot Ekpene, Essien Udim and Obot Akara LGA’s.

In Ikot Ekpene, his hometown, Patty pulled a total of 3,903 from the 11 wards of the area to Akpan’s 599. In Essien Udim, Emmanuel Akpan got 2,505 compared to Patty’s 5,758 while Obot Akara saw Patty scoring 1,938 to Akpan’s 891.

Also, Mr Akpanobong Ituen was leading in Uyo federal constituency based on preliminary results that came in Thursday night. He defeated his closest rival, Hon Ekerette Ekpeyong in Uruan, scoring a total of 1,194 to Ekpeyong’s 558.

He also led in Ibesikpo Asutan with 2,279 to Ekpeyong trailing behind.

In Uyo, Ituen defeated Ekerette Ekpeyong by 718 to 442 while Essein Nkanga scored 83 votes to Perry Ntuk’s 155 with Udoma James securing 206 votes.
