The member representing Itu/Ibiono Ibom Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Hon. Dr. Henry Archibong is among dignitaries to be honoured by the University of Uyo with an award for excellent service delivery.
The award ceremonies is part of activities to mark the 2nd Annual International Conference of the Forum of Educational Benchmakers in conjunction with the Department of Vocational Education of the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. The conference, which is slated to hold today Wednesday, 4th April, 2018 by 12noon at the Oyeama Ugochukwu Hall, Town Campus of the University of Uyo, has as theme, “Re-Thinking Creativity and Innovation: Imperatives for Life Long Learning”.
A letter of notification of the award indicates that Dr. Archibong is to be honoured with an Award of Benchmark Excellence to Community Development. This, according to the letter is in recognition of Dr. Archibong’s outstanding leadership and unwavering commitment to social and community development.
It may be recalled that Dr. Archibong was in 2016 massively voted to win the House of Representatives Member of the Year and was awarded same by the prestigious Akwa Watch Magazine.
