A’IBOM SPEAKER REITERATES SUPPORT FOR GOV EMMANUEL, UMO ENO

The Speaker of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aniekan Bassey, has reiterated his support for Governor Udom Emmanuel and his choice of preferred successor, Pastor Umo Eno.

Rt. Hon.Bassey reaffirmed his support on Sunday during Pastor Eno’s consultation to All Nations Christian Ministry Int’l Church, Eket.

In his words, “God chooses anybody He wants to favour. The choice of Umo Eno by Governor Udom Emmanuel is divine. He may not be the most qualified , but God has decided to qualify him and make him the preferred.”

“We need a go-getter, a man of peace, a man of love and one who is truly a man of God and someone who will consolidate on the credence of the Udom Emmanuel-led administration. We have seen these sterling qualities in Pastor Umo Eno,” he added

Speaking further, the Speaker appealed to the congregation to stand by Pastor Eno, saying “we are here to solicit your support for the most wanted man in Akwa Ibom State. We solely believe he will not disappoint us as citizens and above all, he will not disappoint God.”

He said “Pastor Eno is coming on board with the mindset to serve the people and improve on the developmental strides in the state.”

Dignitaries at the event include DG of Umo Eno Campaign Organization, Chief Assam Assam; his Deputy, Dr. Godwin Ntukudeh, Political Leader of Nsit Ubium, Senator Effiong Bob, Leadership of MPM led by Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem, the Political Class, the Clergies among others.
