A’IBOM SPEAKER HAILS UDUAK ODUDOH ON BIRTHDAY

The Speaker of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aniekan Bassey, has hailed the leadership quality of the member representing Ikot Abasi/Eastern Obolo State Constituency, Rt. Hon. Uduak Odudoh, describing him as a man of great precision, loyalist, committed and dedicated lawmaker.

 

Rt. Hon. Bassey, celebrating his Odudoh on his 44th birthday celebration, said the lawmaker, who is also Chairman of the House Committee on Finance and Appropriation, “has leadership qualities that endears people to him. His quest and commitment to nurturing the younger generation of politicians are unrivalled.”

 

In the Speaker’s statement released by his Special Assistant on Media and Communications, Mr. Darlington Udobong, he said, “But for the dedication and commitment of my colleague and his Committee members we would not have had the smooth and timely passage of the 2020 Appropriation Bill. He has been an excellent lawmaker.”

 

He also praised what he called the new narrative of empowerment and politicking in Ikot Abasi and Eastern Obolo politics, adding that “Rt.Hon. Odudoh has become a role model for youths of his State Constituency and Akwa Ibom to emulate.”

 

The Speaker also used the opportunity to thanked the people of Ikot Abasi and Eastern Obolo, the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) and Governor Udom Emmanuel for finding him qualified to serve as a-two term member of the State House of Assembly.
