A’IBOM GOVERNMENT POSTPONES ARRIVAL OF NEW IBOMAIR AIRCRAFT

The Akwa Ibom State Government has announced the postponement of a new aircraft acquired for its home carrier, IbomAir, #IbomTelegraph gathered.

The announcement was made on Saturday through a statement signed by the State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Comrade Ini Ememobong.

“The  arrival of the two new Airbus A220-300 series aircraft for Ibom Air scheduled to land  Uyo on May 29, 2021 has been rescheduled, due to the extended time required for international crew preparation and approvals under the new COVID protocol,” the statement stated.

The Commissioner further said “The new date for the reception of the aircraft will be announced in due course.”
