Another relation of the former Senate Minority Leader, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has been nominated as Commissioner to replace the Commissioner for Labour, Productivity and Manpower Planning, Barrister Ibanga Akpabio, who resigned to pursue personal business.
The nominee, Prince Akpabio, is among the four nominees in a list forwarded to the State House of Assembly by Governor Udom Emmanuel for confirmation as Commissioners, Ibom Telegraph can authoritatively report.
Others nominees included a former member of the State House of Assembly for Urue Offong/Oruko, Chief Uno Etim Uno; Otuekong Raphael Bassey; the immediate past Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Udo Ekpenyong; and Sunny Ibuot as a Special Adviser.
