Stakeholders and opinion leaders of Essien Udim under the aegis of the Reformation Agenda, a socio-cultural and socio-political group that projects the interest of the people of the area, have lauded Governor Udom Emmanuel over the appointment of their son, Prince Ukpong Akpabio, as Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and Investment.

A goodwill message signed by its state Coordinator of the group, Mr. Martins Inyangetoh, said “We, the entire members of the Reformation Agenda greatly celebrate the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Deacon Udom Emmanuel, on the appointment of our son, brother and strategist, Prince Ukpong Udo Akpabio (MEGA), as Honourable Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and Investment.”

The goodwill message further said “On this appointment, Your Excellency, we are grateful and delighted to celebrate you. Your initiative, support, encouragement, outstanding works, courage, foresight, vision and concept are indelible and source of inspiration to us and the future generation.”

According to Mr. Inyangetoh, Akpabio’s appointment, which he said came “through dint of hard work,” is a clear testimony that God has more plans for him.
