Political leader of Nsit Ubium, Senator Effiong Bob, has said that the Governor Udom Emmanuel will rule the state for eight years in order to balance the equation of his predecessors.
Senator Bob made this known in Ikot Edibon, Nsit Ubium during a reception organised by the people of Nsit Ubium in honour of the Akwa Ibom State Governor; wife, Martha Emmanuel and Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Barr. Onofiok Luke.
Senator Bob who is a former Chancellor of university of Benin said Governor Udom has brought time consciousness to governance and has also restored integrity in the system.
He commended the Speaker and member representing Nsit Ubium, Barr Luke for keeping to the tenets of loyalty, saying that he (the Speaker) Luke has surpassed him by speaking for Akwa Ibom people, according to Senator Bob: “I degree and declared that Nsit Ubium is the support Base of this administration and Udom will rule the state for eight years”.
He said the people of Nsit Ubium decided to host Governor Udom Emmanuel and their son because the divine mandate campaign started in Nsit Ubium before spreading to other local government areas.
He prayed God to bless Governor Udom Emmanuel and his team of Commissioners.
