Set To Commission Bungalow For Supporter, Gives Educational Support To Students

The member representing Itu/Ibiono Ibom Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Rt Hon (Dr) Henry Archibong is set to empower his constituents during this Christmas season in appreciation for their continued support.
According to a release signed by Dr Archibong, the empowerment programme will take place on Sunday, December 29, 2019, at Government Primary School, Atan, Mbak Obio Itam in Itu Local Government Area, by 2pm.
Preceding the empowerment programme will be the commissioning of a standard two-bedroom bungalow, built by Dr Archibong for an indigene of Enen Atai Itam in Itu Local Government Area by 1pm on the same day.
Dr Archibong thanked his constituency and encourage them to abide by the tide of the season, saying “My dear people of Itu/Ibiono Ibom Federal Constituency, all too soon Christmas is here again and we are gradually witnessing the completion of the year 2019. Christmas is the time that we remember the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, the saviour of mankind. But the real essence of Christmas, therefore, is the celebration of the incredible love of God, which He demonstrated for us by sending His only begotten Son to this world to save humanity by suffering and dying on the cross for our sins.”
He used the opportunity to thank God for preserving his life and that of his constituents, preaching love, peace, and goodness of Christmas, “In a time like this, it has become appropriate that we give thanks to God Almighty for preserving our lives and providing for our needs according to His immeasurable riches in glory. Christmas, such as we celebrate today, prompts us therefore to acknowledge God’s love and goodness to all of us.
“I use this season to thank and appreciate you all for your prayers, the show of love and support for me through the years as I represent you at the hallowed green chamber of the 9th National Assembly.”
Dr Archibong spelled out his plans for his people as he will embark on lives touching empowerments including educational support for students studying in the tertiary institutions.
“To key into this season of love as exemplified by our creator, I shall hold a Christmas get together for the people of Itu/Ibiono Ibom Federal Constituency on Sunday, December 29, 2019, at the playground of Govt. Primary School, Atan, Mbak Obio Itam in Itu LGA by 2pm.
“I shall use the opportunity to give out life touching empowerment items to some persons within the federal constituency including educational support to students studying in tertiary institutions.
“The get together will be preceded by commissioning and handing over of a standard 2-bedroom bungalow I built for an indigene of Enen Atai Itam in Itu LGA by 1pm.”
