WARSAW SAW WAR AS ANGRY APC YOUTH BURN DOWN OKOBO POLICE STATION

…As DPO, Party Officer Disappear With Materials

Akpabio’s prophesy and prediction of war and bloodbath came manifesting earlier than his 2019 implementation date as angry APC youth have set ablaze the Okobo Divisional Police station.

Trouble started when all APC House of Assembly aspirants from Okobo gathered at the Police station in anticipation of the arrival of election materials for the primary only to discover that both the materials, the DPO on whose custody the materials were and the State party officer representing the chapter in the State Working Committee of the parry have all disappeared.

Apart from burning down the police station, the youth have also barricaded the Uyo-Okobo highway.

The situation remains tense and uncertain as at the time of filing this report.

Reacting to the tragedy, an APC chieftain from Okobo who did not want his name mentioned for security reasons say, the ongoing violence that has befallen the state since the coming of Akpabio is just the beginning of more tradegy to come.

He said when Akpabio ignited the Warsaw rtheotics, many APC chieftains who should have spoken against it were rejoicing thinking they have found a new warlord, not knowing the APC is now being hunted by the ghost of those they killed.

“What is happening today shows clearly that the blood of Chief Ononokpon, Onyong Asukwo, Okon Uwah, Ukpanah, Ime Unamah, Ekpenyong Brothers, Eka Udonwa, Paul Inyang and the rest of the innocent Akwa Ibom people murdered in cold blood by this same APC chieftains are hunting them”.

” This is just the beginning of more anarchy to come. The more reason Akwa Ibom people must be careful with some demons of yesterday parading as saints of today”, he said.
