UDOM INAUGURATES BOARD

In his effort to fulfill part of his campaign promises, Governor Udom Emmanuel has approved the constitution of the Board of Peacock Paint Limited.

In a statement signed by Secretary to Akwa Ibom State Government (SSG), Sir Etekamba Umoren, the Governor said the working of the Board commenced with immediate effect from Monday, July 25, 2016.

According to the statement, members of the Board included Engr. Billy Etuk as Chairman; Barrister Edet Inyang Idim as Secretary; Mr. Sam Emeh; Mr. Nsudo Nsudo, and Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and Investment as members.

The statement further said that the disbanded Board of Akwa Ibom State Roads and Other Infrastructures Maintenance Agency would be supervised henceforth by the Ministry of Works pending the re-constitution of the Board.

Governor Emmanuel said the reason for the development was to ensure efficiency and best practices.
