UDOM CONSTITUTES, INAUGURATES NEW LG TRANSITION COMMITTEES

Following the approval to the request of the State Governor to constitute new Transition Committees for the 31 Local Government Councils by the State House of Assembly on Friday, Governor Udom Emmanuel has constituted Local Government Transition Committees for the 31 LGAs.

According a statement from the Government House, Uyo, the Committees will be inaugurated today, Tuesday, 4th July 2017 at Banquet Hall, Government House, Uyo, by 5pm.

The statement invites Executive Council members, Chairmen of Boards and Commissions, Permanent Secretaries and other government officials to the inauguration.

According to our Government House source, “But for Itu and Ukanafun Local Government areas which were disbanded, the Governor has not done wholesome changes to the Committees.”
