RIPPLES AS AKPABIO LOSES SENATE MINORITY SEAT TO OMO-AGEGE OF LABOUR PARTY

There were ripples on Wednesday during the Senate plenary as Senator Godswill Akpabio of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) lost Senate Minority Leader seat to Senator Ovie Omo-Agege of the Labour Party.

Omo-Agege assumed position as Minority Leader after a walkout by PDP senators during Senate plenary session..
The PDP senators walked out over the defection of Ondo senator, to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
